A role defines the nature of missions for each character and how they interact with each other. For example, the Volunteer (Almighty Companion) assists the Defender, the Medic (First Aid Expert) provides aid to everyone in need, and the Journalist (Truth Fighter) counters misinformation at all levels of the game.

Superpowers are at the core of the RBTNK world — they even have a dedicated chapter,  Chapter 3.  Each character possesses all six superpowers, but they develop differently in each individual. Characters with a dominance of Strength, Resilience, and Courage belong to the Front, while those with Empathy, Resourcefulness, and Flexibility belong to the Back. The Frontline cannot exist without the Rear, and vice versa — they are closely interconnected.

In addition to superpowers, characters also possess specific skills related to their roles in the game. While superpowers are something given to the character by nature, skills are acquired, something that can be learned.

This is a set of items that help the character complete missions, provide protection, and offer an advantage over opponents. Equipment includes artifacts — items related to superpowers. The most powerful of them will be discussed in the next chapter.
