Memory Makes Everything Real
This project is a continuation of RBTNK's Chapter 4 on memory and the next step in a shared endeavor: to honor everyone who is no longer with us and to support those who preserve their names.
At the Heart of the Bracelet — Half of a Steel RBTNK Tag
Traditionally, steeltags are worn by military personnel, but RBTNK has transformed the tag into a symbol of unity between the front and the home front in a common struggle.
"When a Defender gives their life, their personal tag is divided in half. We have used this form. It is a symbol of loss that has an ancient history. And it is also materialized memory that should not be hidden and left only for the families of the fallen, but about which we must speak. And wear every day.
Memory, seen and heard – heals and unites. And those who preserve it will win," says Iordan Konstantinidi, military medic and founder of RBTNK.
The Strap is Woven from Paracord by Veteran Oleksandr Savliuk
Oleksandr is a sniper with combat experience dating back to 2014. After participating in the Revolution of Dignity, he volunteered for the military, taking part in battles near Luhansk, Popasna, and at the Donetsk Airport. After Russia's full-scale invasion, he fought near Brovary and Bakhmut, where he sustained a severe wound and concussion.
"I remember every fallen comrade. Their names are not just memories; they are scars on my heart that ache but do not allow me to stop."
Currently, Oleksandr and his wife are developing their own brand of paracord products. We are proud of their contribution to the creation of this bracelet.
Memorial Platform
The Memorial Platform is a team that transforms statistics into names. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, they have published over 10,000 stories of fallen Defenders and civilians killed by Russia. The team's mission is to create a new culture of memory in Ukraine.
"Memory is an action. We record these stories daily and are grateful to everyone who supports our work. Thanks to you, the memory of the fallen lives on – and transforms into a force that does not allow us to stop," says Gayane Avakyan, co-founder of Memorial Platform
Every Bracelet is an Artifact of Memory
It helps to preserve stories about those who gave their lives for Ukraine. Become one of those who never let them be forgotten.
